After Microsoft’s very successful presentation, the expectations from Sony were higher than ever. It seemed that Xbox One’s backward comparability would be hard to beat, but for this writer, Sony’s showcase was more than satisfying!
Sony started off with Debut footage of The Last Guardian.The game looks so incredibly fluid! And that feather animation- WOW. Fans were no doubt relieved and excited that the long awaited title is still alive and well.
The all new gameplay of No Man’s Sky featured a planet created impromptu and some interesting space combat. We are LOVING the conference so far!
For Destiny fans- the new expansion- A Taken King was on the showcase.
The expansion releases on September 15.
Street Fighter V‘s new trailer introduced classic characters Birdie and Cammy. Rise up.
Mass Effect : Andromeda FINALLY gets a stunning debut!
Sony showed off a very flashy CG trailer of Assassins Creed : Syndicate, which included footage of Evie Frye in action.
Dice debuted new gameplay for Star Wars: Battlefront for the game’s survival mode. It had players fighting off waves of enemies while completing objectives.
A cinematic trailer for the latest open world Batman: Arkham Knight covering the first few moments of the game were also shown.
To conclude, a new trailer of perhaps the most anticipated game of the year- Uncharted 4 : A Thief’s End was shown, and minds were blown. Check it out here.
