Sony has announced free multiplayer weekend this Saturday the 27th starting 12:30pm IST, till 12:30 pm IST,Tuesday afternoon.
Unlike on the PS3, PS4 users need to subscribe to Sony’s PS plus service in order to play online and so the free multiplayer weekend is an opportunity for users to experience the online multiplayer of their favorite games, allowing them to challenge their friends to epic online battles.
According to the statistics recovered by Sony, a large number of people who have bought the PS4 are first time gamers. Sony hopes to attract this crowd to try out online gameplay with the free multiplayer weekend.
