The XBOX One, made exclusively available on Amazon.in was launched here on Monday night. The console is not available for purchase through any other online or game stores.
While retailers struggle, and inevitably fail to deliver games on launch day, Amazon, who are known for their impeccable service, made sure that the consoles were delivered at midnight,to all the eager customers who pre-ordered.
As reported by an avid gamer in New Delhi, a van pulled up outside of his residence, just past midnight. It was indeed, Amazon delivery personnel stepping out, congratulating him on becoming one of the 1st owners of the console in india.
The Xbox One with Kinect bundle is priced at Rs 45,990 and the without the Kinect is priced at Rs 39,990.FIFA15 and Dance Central Spotlight DLC are the two games that come with the console.
It will be interesting to know the pre-order sale figures and the sale trend over the next few weeks. Though India is touted as a PlayStation Nation,let us wait and watch.
